Where will I be parking during the Summer Institute?
You can park in any Student or Faculty lot once you have registered your license plate through our Event (MASH). You won’t get a physical parking permit, but if your license is scanned you will be in the system.
What is the dress code during the Summer Institute?
Dress is casual. We will be in the midst of summer so it will be warm, but sometimes the buildings can be chilly. We suggest you dress in layers so that you’ll be comfortable inside and outside.
What is the schedule for the Summer Institute?
On Monday July 18 we will start at 9:00 am and finish up at 4:45 pm. From Tuesday July 19 until Friday July 22, we will start at 8:30 am and finish up at 4:30 pm.
The second week is set up exactly the same. On Monday July 25 we will start at 9:00 am and finish up at 4:45 pm. From Tuesday July 26 until Firday July 29 we will start at 8:30 am and finish up at 4:30 pm.
How will the hotel rooms work?
If you are staying in the accommodations provided, you will not be able to check in until after the end of the first day, Monday July 18 and Monday July 25 because check in is at 3:00pm. Check out on Friday will have to be done prior to the beginning of the sessions on Friday July 22 and Friday July 29. Accommodations are paid for by the Institute.
